“I settle in for the night, I can’t help but think. As you go to bed tonight, remember there are children sleeping in the forests… imagine the cold, the bugs, the fear, the discomfort. Remember there is a mother holding her baby helplessly. Parents praying for safety. Schools living in fear.”, he said.

Kunle Remi also questioned why political campaigns and election activities appear to continue as normal despite the growing insecurity in the country.

“And somehow, in the middle of all this, election campaigns and preparations still continue. Bloggers are posting election like everything is normal. May we never become so used to tragedy that we stop feeling it,” he added.
