According to him, the event will also include the selection and affirmation of candidates for the State Houses of Assembly, National Assembly, governorship, and presidential positions.

Gwarzo, who has previously served as Deputy Governor of Kano State, a local government chairman, and commissioner in several ministries, also held positions as a member of the National Assembly Service Commission and Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal College of Education, Kontagora.

Reacting to his emergence, Gwarzo expressed gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters for their confidence in him. He also appreciated Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and members of the Kwankwasiyya movement for their support.
