Isaac Fayose has taken a swipe at his elder brother, former Ekiti State Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose, over comments accusing the Oyo State Government of being responsible for a recent k%dnapping incident in the state.
Reacting to his brother’s remarks, Isaac Fayose questioned why the former governor did not make similar allegations against the Ekiti State Government when kidnapping cases occurred in Ekiti.
He also expressed disappointment over the statement, arguing that public figures should be careful about the claims they make, especially on sensitive security matters.
In his reaction, Isaac Fayose said:
“Shame caught me after watching my brother’s interview last night.
When people were kidnapped in our state, Ekiti, why didn’t you accuse the governor? Why are you now saying that the Governor of Oyo State might have a hand in the Oyo kidnapping?
My brother, if you don’t have anything meaningful to say, keep quiet like other former governors.”
His remarks came shortly after the former governor’s comments on the kidnapping incident sparked reactions from members of the public.
