The Yoruba movie industry has been thrown into mourning following the de.ath of popular Nollywood actor and comedian, Adeshina Okiki Oshin, widely known as Janmole.
The sad news surfaced on Monday, June 1, after an Ibadan-based radio station, Success FM, announced his passing in a Facebook post, describing him as a talented actor, filmmaker and comedian whose contribution to the industry would be greatly missed.
The station wrote: “Heartbreaking news hits the Yoruba movie industry as multi-talented actor, filmmaker, and comedian Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole, has reportedly passed away.”
Condolences were also extended to his family, friends, the people of Okeho, and members of the Nollywood community.
At the time of filing this report, the circumstances surrounding his de.ath had not been confirmed.
His de.ath is particularly painful for fans as it comes more than a year after he survived a serious accident.
