The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) today staged a solidarity rally in Ikeja, Lagos State, over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State
A large crowd of protesters gathered to demand urgent action from authorities to secure the release of the kidnapped victims.

The demonstrators carried placards with various messages, including “End the religion of fear in our schools” and “Let teachers teach in peace,” calling for improved safety in educational institutions.
The protest comes amid growing nationwide concern and renewed calls on the government and security agencies to rescue the abducted students and teachers in Oyo State.
