Nollywood actress now turned politician, Doris Ogala, has revealed that she was hospitalised after suddenly collapsing and losing consciousness in Abia State
The actress was reportedly attending a consultation in Umuahia on Friday when the incident occurred, prompting her immediate transfer to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, for medical attention.
After receiving treatment, Ogala took to Instagram to reassure her followers that her condition had improved.
“I was rushed to FMC Umuahia. I lost consciousness. Glory to God I am stabilised now,” she wrote while sharing a video from the hospital.
The footage showed the actress seated in a wheelchair as she interacted warmly with patients and hospital staff. She was also seen offering prayers and words of encouragement to people receiving treatment at the facility.
Ogala recently secured the AAC ticket for the 2027 Abia governorship election and has publicly declared her ambition to unseat Governor Alex Otti.
Her campaign agenda centres on job creation, economic development and policies aimed at improving the welfare of residents.
