Florentino Pérez has been re-elected as president of Real Madrid after emerging victorious in the club’s presidential election, extending his leadership of the Spanish club for another term
The result was confirmed on Monday in an official statement released by Real Madrid’s Electoral Board following the conclusion of vote counting.
“With 100% of the in-person and postal votes counted, the candidacy headed by Mr. Florentino Pérez has won the elections for President and Board of Directors of Real Madrid,” the statement read.
The outcome means Pérez will remain in charge of the club and continue overseeing its affairs alongside the newly elected Board of Directors. The board includes vice presidents Eduardo Fernández de Blas, Pedro López Jiménez, Enrique Sánchez González and Enrique Pérez Rodríguez.
Pérez’s latest victory further strengthens his long-standing influence at the Santiago Bernabéu, where he has played a key role in shaping the club’s modern era both on and off the pitch.
