X influencer Samuel Adeboye Adeyeye, popularly known as Swanky, has regained his freedom weeks after he was convicted over false social media claims concerning the daughter of music stars Adekunle Gold and Simi
The development was disclosed by human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, who had publicly advocated for the influencer’s release.
According to Sowore, Swanky was released after a Good Samaritan paid the fine imposed by the court in place of a custodial sentence.
“A piece of good news worth reporting is that Samuel Adeboye Adeyeye, popularly known online by his handles @Swanky001 and Swanky_concept, has regained his freedom after a Good Samaritan paid the court-imposed fine,” Sowore said.
