Daddy Freeze has responded strongly to former Big Brother Naija star Cross Okonkwo after the reality TV personality criticized him for questioning the healing claims of some popular Nigerian pastors.
The exchange began when Freeze raised concerns about why gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey and Pastor Jerry Eze, both widely associated with testimonies of miraculous healings, were unable to heal actor Alexx Ekubo during his reported battle with cancer.
His comments attracted criticism from several individuals, including Cross, who reportedly told him to stop attacking men of God.
Reacting to Cross’s remarks, Freeze issued a public challenge, offering ₦50 million to any pastor capable of healing just one out of 50 crippled individuals he says he is willing to provide within 72 hours.
Freeze said:
“i’ll give you ₦50 million if any of your so-called men of god can heal just one of the 50 crippled i’ll provide within 72 hours”
According to the broadcaster, the challenge is intended to test the credibility of miracle-healing claims often made by some religious leaders.
