Rúben Amorim has been appointed as the new head coach of AC Milan, just months after his departure from Manchester United
The announcement was made by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his X account, where he declared the deal complete in his signature “Here we go” style update.

Romano revealed that all parties have reached a verbal agreement on a contract running until June 2028, with an option for a further year until June 2029.
He also stated that Amorim has accepted the full terms of the deal and is expected to sign this week, officially taking over as Milan prepare for a new managerial era.
He tweeted:

Verbal agreement done on deal valid until June 2028 plus option until June 2029.
Amorim has accepted all conditions and will sign this week as new Milan manager. 🫱🏻🫲🏼”
