Rudeboy raises concern over rehabilitation of ex-t.errorists

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has questioned the Federal Government’s continued rehabilitation and reintegration of former te.rrrists into society.

The singer expressed his concerns following reports on Nigeria’s deradicalisation and reintegration programme, known as Operation Safe Corridor, which has seen thousands of former insurgents pass through rehabilitation.

Reacting, Rudeboy wondered who was in charge of the country, saying the programme had left him confused.

“God abeg who’s in charge of Nigeria? Who dey run this country… Because this rehabilitation shits is making me think otherwise like WTF!! I’m confused,” he wrote.

Operation Safe Corridor is a Federal Government programme designed to rehabilitate and reintegrate former insurgents who have renounced te.rrorism.

Rudeboy’s comments come amid growing concerns among some Nigerians over the continued reintegration of former insurgents into society, against the backdrop of ongoing security challenges in the country.
