Actress, Judy Austin has finally broken her silence following fresh allegations from her ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, who accused her of infidelity during their marriage and claimed he was denied access to their children
Judy addressed the controversy in a video, insisting that her former husband has repeatedly failed to provide evidence of caring for their child or taking legal steps for custody.
She also accused him of using social media to push a narrative focused solely on her while ignoring his alleged responsibilities.
She further defended her current partner, actor Yul Edochie, urging reporters and critics to stop dragging his name into the matter, stating that he has played a supportive role in her life and in caring for her children from the previous marriage.
Judy maintained that she met Yul years after her marriage had ended, stressing that there was no wrongdoing in their relationship timeline.
She also criticised her ex-husband for what she described as contradictions in his public statements and for refusing to settle issues in court.
According to her, if single mothers receive genuine support from partners, such individuals should be appreciated rather than attacked online, warning that constant criticism could discourage others from helping struggling families.
She also expressed readiness to confront Emmanuel Obasi through legal channels, insisting that the law will determine who is right in the ongoing dispute.
“It hurts. Not once has he ever brought out any evidence of taking care of this kid… Not once has he ever brought out any evidence of going to court for custody… Please, I am warning all you bloggers, stop insulting Yul Edochie… I met him three years after my marriage ended… If we continue to allow deadbeats to come out and lie… what will be the fate of all descendants? … As for Emmanuel Obasi, we will meet where we’re supposed to meet. And the law will grant justice to who deserves it,” she said.
