Hours after the road accident that nearly claimed his life, Music promoter Sam Larry has spoken about what he’s been going through.
The accident happened over the weekend on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos State. He was reportedly travelling with his bouncer when their vehicle reportedly crashed into a trailer. Sam Larry survived and is recovering in hospital, but his bouncer sadly lost his life.
Lying on a hospital bed during a live video, Samlarry said the worst is behind him and doctors are preparing to send him home.
He admitted, however, that the injuries have made walking impossible for now, meaning he’ll have to depend on a wheelchair during his recovery.
“I’m doing well.
I’m expected to be discharged from the hospital soon. The only issue I’m facing right now is that I can’t walk, so I’ll be using a wheelchair, and God knows till when.
But, I’m grateful to be alive. I’ve seen a lot of negative speculation surrounding this accident.
The God I serve knows the truth; I am innocent”, he said.
