Seun Kuti has publicly criticized his former friend, VeryDarkMan, over comments linking the release of the abducted Oyo school children and their teachers to a recent protest.
Reacting to the claim, Seun dismissed the suggestion that the protest influenced the rescue, arguing that VeryDarkMan was misleading Nigerians.
He also questioned the activist’s impact over the years, saying he could not point to any meaningful change that had come from his public campaigns.
According to Seun, VeryDarkMan’s visit to Oyo State was simply an opportunity to meet Governor Seyi Makinde rather than a genuine effort to drive change.
He went on to accuse him of constantly seeking attention and described him as someone who thrives on making misleading claims.

“So why is Very daft man deceiving Nig£rians? I heard he said it was as a result of the protest him and his fellow rats boys did few weeks ago that prompted the Govt to quickly rescue the orire student and their teachers? Why is Very daft man so stupid? Pls can anyone tell me one thing he has spoken about that change has happened ? Absolutely nothing, he hasn’t made any impact in Nigeria, him going to Oyo state to protest was basically to meet Seyi Makinde.
‘He doesn’t have anything good to offer Nigeria, his a Pathological Liar always looking for what to feed on. If he truly wants to help all the rats following him he should tell the Govt to provide jobs for them atleast they will stop constituting nuisance on social media”,he said.
