Nana Otedola has revealed her shocking reaction to learning that her daughter, actress Temi Otedola, and her husband, singer Mr Eazi, were expecting their first child soon after getting married
On the latest episode of the couple’s “How Far” podcast, Nana admitted the pregnancy announcement caught her off guard because she had imagined the newlyweds would spend a few years travelling and enjoying married life before having children.
She recalled saying, “When I heard that there was a baby, I was a little bit shocked because I assumed you guys were going to have like three years of travelling, being married.”
However, Temi told her that she and Mr Eazi had enjoyed that phase of their relationship to the maximum before exchanging vows.
“She said to me, ‘Mom, we’ve dated for five years, we’ve done all of that.’ So I was like, ‘Okay.’ But then now I’ve learned not to be presumptuous about you guys anymore from your wedding,” Nana said.
Despite her initial surprise, Nana expressed her happiness for the couple, noting that they are a perfect match.
“We love it. And I am going to say that you actually do well for each other,” she added.
