Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that Rihanna remains the international artiste he dreams of collaborating with, despite believing the Barbadian singer is no longer focused on making music
Speaking during a livestream, Davido said Rihanna’s success in the beauty industry has shifted her attention away from recording songs.
“Rihanna is my dream collab but she’s not into music again. She makes billions from her makeup business now,” he said.
Davido’s comment come weeks after Rihanna liked a social media post about his new single, I Know Who I Be.
Her simple gesture was seen as a show of support for the track and reignited speculation about a possible collaboration.
This is not the first time Davido has expressed interest in working with Rihanna.
Over the years, he has repeatedly described the Grammy-winning singer as one of his dream collaborators, while fans continue to hope the long-awaited partnership eventually becomes a reality.
