Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has shared an emotional testimony after undergoing a life-changing deliverance, saying he now feels like a different person.
In a video, the actor expressed gratitude to God, explaining that he arrived feeling weighed down and unlike himself but left feeling lighter, happier and renewed.
“I came here feeling heavy, but now I feel lighter and happier,” Hanks said while thanking God for what he described as a new beginning in his life.
The veteran actor also took time to appreciate everyone who stood by him during his difficult moments. According to him, God worked through people who reached out to him, supported him and eventually led him to the place where he received his deliverance.
His testimony comes just weeks after a video of him sitting alone along a highway in Abuja circulated online. The clip, shared by a man who claimed to have come across the actor, raised fresh concerns about his wellbeing.
The eyewitness insisted the encounter was not part of a movie set and wrote: “There was no set.I saw him and made this video myself..
He was pissed and did not look good.He needs help. mental help assistance.”
The video drew widespread concern about the veteran actor’s wellbeing. However, Hanks Anuku later addressed the speculation, insisting that he was fine and urging people to leave him alone.
Reflecting on his recent experience, Hanks said he is grateful for God’s mercy and the transformation he believes has taken place in his life.
He ended his message by thanking God for bringing him through a difficult season and giving him a renewed sense of peace, strength and hope for the future.
