Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (rtd), the former Chief Security Officer to late military ruler General Sani Abacha, has dismissed allegations by ex-Department of State Services (DSS) operative Dennis Amachree that Abacha d!ed while with a woman
Speaking to journalists in Kaduna, Al-Mustapha described the claim, contained in Amachree’s book, as false and alleged that the former DSS official was influenced by others to write it.

“The boy was asked to write the lies by others. I have all the CCTV footages of what happened in my custody, so what he said are not true,” Al-Mustapha said.
He insisted that the version of events presented in the book was inaccurate, maintaining that he possesses evidence to refute the claims surrounding Abacha’s death.
Al-Mustapha also urged Nigerians to disregard the allegations, arguing that it was unfair to make such accusations against someone who is no longer alive to defend himself.
“Just ignore his lies. It’s bad to say such things on someone that is dead,” he said.
He further alleged that Amachree was carrying out someone else’s agenda, adding that he would address the claims at the appropriate time.
“But I want to assure you that the author of the book is acting out a script. He is not acting alone. At the appropriate time, I will respond to these lies. You don’t tell your enemies your plans,” he added.
