Paul Okoye known as Rudeboy has once again made it clear that he has no intention of backing down when it comes to false allegations against him.
Speaking during a conversation on a Wazobia FM podcast, the singer said he will continue to take legal action against anyone who makes damaging claims about him, stressing that he believes the law should handle such matters.
Reflecting on one of the cases he pursued, he said:
“The person said something d!sgusting. I got the person arrested. Took the person to court. Won the case. The person is paying the penalty now. I’m sorry for the lady in question, I know what the husband went through, but I’m sorry, there’s nothing I could do. Once I catch you, I hand you over to the authorities”.
Rudeboy explained that his position has not changed, maintaining that people should be held accountable for making allegations they cannot prove.
According to him, once a defamatory claim crosses the line, he prefers to let the legal process take over rather than ignore it.
Rudeboy’s latest comments revisit the defamation case that followed allegations made against him in 2025 by an X user identified as @chubbiedivah. The singer denied the claims, took legal action and he won the case.
According to him, the woman is still paying the penalty after the court ruled in his favour, reinforcing his position that he will continue to pursue anyone who makes defamatory allegations against him.
