Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially released his highly anticipated sixth studio album, Oriadé, marking another major milestone in his music career
The 13-track project dropped today, July 31, exactly 15 years after he began his journey as a professional artiste.
The album features collaborations with several local and international stars, including Black Sherif, Mayorkun, FOLA, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Llona, JAZZWRLD, GL_Ceejay and NO11. Tracks on the project include On The Road, Amazing Grace, Julie, Constantly, B4 B4, Tell Everybody, Yaya, Zanzibar, Guide and My Light.
Ahead of the release, Davido described Oriadé as a project rooted in purpose, legacy and his African identity. The album title is derived from the Yoruba words “Ori” (destiny) and “Adé” (crown), reflecting themes of purpose, gratitude, resilience and a return to his musical roots.
The release has been met with excitement from fans, who have been eagerly counting down to the arrival of the project since Davido unveiled its title, artwork and tracklist earlier this month.
