Hollywood star Ben Affleck has won $1 million after successfully competing on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire alongside Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding
The duo claimed the show’s top prize during Wednesday’s episode, matching the achievement of Affleck’s longtime friend and Good Will Hunting co-star, Matt Damon, who also won $1 million on the programme last year.

Their biggest challenge came with the final question, which asked them to identify the pair of turkeys that had never received a presidential pardon in the United States. The options were Peanut Butter and Jelly, Tater and Tot, Mac and Cheese, and Spaghetti and Meatball.
With uncertainty over the correct answer, Affleck and Ding turned to host Jimmy Kimmel for advice. Although hesitant, Kimmel suggested they choose Spaghetti and Meatball. They also reached out to Ding’s trivia teammate, Stephen Morrison, but he declined to offer a guess.
Trusting Kimmel’s instinct, Affleck said:
“I would bet on Jimmy. I would go for it.”
The pair locked in Spaghetti and Meatball as their final answer, leaving the studio in suspense.
As they waited for the result, Kimmel admitted he was anxious.
“I have such a stomachache right now.”
Moments later, the answer was confirmed as correct, triggering loud celebrations as Affleck and Ding embraced while confetti rained down across the studio.
Following their victory, Kimmel presented the pair with a $1 million cheque, which will go to Affleck’s charitable organisation, the Eastern Congo Initiative.
