Kemi Afolabi’s daughter turns 16

Kemi Afolabi is celebrating the 16th birthday of her daughter, Dara

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a video of herself and her daughter in the hospital, revealing that 2026 has been tough for them.

Captioning the video, she wrote;

“Year 2026 has been tough 4us. Lupus flare came on so strong, leading to multiple surgeries, but Dara was stronger!
You grew on me, baby.
It’s been you during sad and happy moments.
You’re an amazing child.
I celebrate you not just today but every day”.
