Isaac Fayose has taken a swipe at FCT Minister, Wike, following his explanation about cows still roaming parts of Abuja.
During his recent media chat, Wike was asked why cows are still seen moving around the nation’s capital. The minister acknowledged the problem and explained that it is a sensitive issue involving security, stakeholders and ongoing efforts to find a lasting solution rather than something that can be resolved with a simple order.
Fayose, however, wasn’t convinced by that explanation. Sharing his reaction, he said:
“Wike answered all the questions at his media chat yesterday but when they asked him about the cows roaming on the street of Abuja, he said for some reasons, he can’t stop the cows. Wike fear Abuja cows than human beings, government wey Dey fear cows, but they’re quick to disrespect human beings.”
Wike had said the issue goes beyond removing the animals from the streets, describing it as one that requires careful handling because of its security implications and the need to work with relevant authorities and stakeholders on a lasting solution.
