Nkechi Blessing’s ex and content creator Xxssive has delivered a blistering att.ack on Jude Okoye, blaming the former P-Square manager and elder brother of the due for the group’s breakup and accusing him of playing a major role in the collapse of several music careers.
Xxssive did not hold back as he addressed Jude directly, arguing that fans have paid the price for the prolonged rift between Peter and Paul Okoye.
According to him, no matter how successful the brothers may be individually, neither of them has been able to recreate the impact they had together as P-Square.
He insisted that the duo’s legacy remains unmatched and claimed that the songs and wealth at the centre of the family’s dispute were all built during the years they performed as one of Africa’s biggest music groups.
Addressing Jude on his page, he said:
“This is a message to Jude Okoye. Respectfully, you dey craze. For you to deprive us of Psquare. You know wetin be Psquare? You’re nothing without Psquare. With or without you, Psquare remains Psquare.
“Peter and Paul will never sing any individual song that will be bigger than Psquare. They will never have any solo song that’s bigger than Psquare. The money wey una dey f!ght and argue over till today na from the Psquare catalogue.
“You deprived us. You are the k!!ler of careers. Cynthia Morgan, May D, Psquare oo. Judas Iscariot, why always you? Why?.
“You know wetin be Psquare? All because of ‘ifunanya…Onye m’bu n’obi.’ Eeh! God, make God p&n!sh you Jude, ‘With your busy body eeh’. Oh no, you’re w!ck£d. You are very w!ck£d.
“You wey be senior brother, I don’t want to know your side of the story. You no fit allow make peace reign.
“It wasn’t just because of ‘Ifunanya’ we loved Psquare, na because of the break dance back then. Many of us started break dancing because of Peter. Many of us fell in love with melody because of Paul.
“Nobody liked Psquare because of Jude. You were never in the picture. That’s why you’re nothing without them. Show us one successful artiste you’ve managed.”
Throughout the video, Xxssive maintained that P-Square’s influence went beyond hit songs, saying the group’s performances, dance routines and stage presence inspired an entire generation of music lovers. He argued that Peter and Paul’s individual strengths complemented each other in a way that made the duo special, adding that fans connected with both brothers for different reasons.
He also referenced other artistes who were once managed by Jude, including Cynthia Morgan and May D, alleging that their careers suffered under his management. Those claims reflect Xxssive’s personal opinions and allegations, and they remain contested by the parties involved.
