Nigerian comedian Mazi Okeke has responded to the criticism that followed his emotional revelation about his fiancée allegedly cheating on him, making it clear that while he chose to speak publicly about the situation, there are certain accusations and comments he will not accept.
Speaking in a fresh response, the comedian addressed some of those who have weighed in on the issue, particularly fellow content creators, saying he felt the need to correct what he described as false narratives.
“As much as I came online to talk about my fiancée cheating on me, there are some things I won’t tolerate. To those attacking me, like Mc Slimjoe and Radio God, saying I didn’t go to school but sent my fiancée to school, so what? I put my education on hold at the time so I could support hers.
“And to Lenzi, yes, I met her at your house in 2022 when we came to shoot. What made me stop talking to you wasn’t because you warned me about her, but because you went behind my back and tried to hook my fiancée up with another man.”
His response comes a day after he spoke about the end of his relationship. According to Okeke, he decided to speak out to clear up some of the things being said about him.
