Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has hit back at critics who commented on her appearance and lifestyle, making it clear that she has no interest in unsolicited opinions about how she dresses or takes care of herself.
In a message shared on her social media page, Uriel said she was not bothered by what some women thought about her outfits.
She said:
“I could not give two hoots about what some of you ladies think about how I dress. 😂”
She went on to saying that some of her critics should be more concerned about their own health and lifestyle, adding:
“Judging by some of your profiles, some of you actually need my routine, not my outfit. 😭”, she stated.
Uriel also explained why she takes her health seriously, pointing to her mother’s health struggles as an important reason.
“And secondly, at this age, my mother had high blood pressure. She had a stroke. I don’t have either of those things, and for me, that is a WIN”, she noted.
According to her, people who follow her have seen her mother and are aware of what she went through because of her health. She therefore asked people to stop offering her unsolicited health and lifestyle advice.
“If you follow me, you’ve seen my mum and you’ve seen what she went through because of her health. So please, I beg you, do not give me unsolicited health or lifestyle advice. I know exactly why I take my health seriously”, she said.
Concluding her message, Uriel maintained that she would continue to dress and live according to her own choices while prioritising her wellbeing.
“I will wear what I want. I will look how I want. And I will continue taking care of myself.”
