Nollywood actress Aluko Gold has apologised to fans and colleagues who may have felt ignored after seeing her in public.
The actress explained that she is short-sighted and cannot clearly see people from a distance, stressing that her failure to acknowledge people is not intentional or disrespectful.
Gold said she often has to squint her eyes to see clearly even when people are nearby. She also revealed that she does not wear glasses because they affect the appearance of her makeup.
She urged those who encounter her in public to approach her directly so she can recognise them, while asking for forgiveness from anyone she may have unintentionally ignored.
In her post, she said:
“I am short sighted, I can’t see people from afar, don’t think I intentionally ignore you. It’s my eyes condition”.
