VeryDarkMan has responded to the Nigeria Police Force’s invitation to provide evidence for his allegation that some police officers work with k!dnappers.
The social critic said he would honour the invitation but would not hand over his evidence to the police at this stage.
In the post he shared, he said:
“Nigeria police has invited me to come and give evidence about my k!dnapping claims. I stand by my words. I will honour their invitation, but to be very honest, I won’t give them my evidence. I will be charged to court, and then I will tender the evidence. Some Nigerians are now defending security operatives, urging them to arrest me, this was the same people that told me to focus on the government”.
VDM made the allegation during his speech at the 2026 Nigerian Bar Association Conference, where he accused some police officers of helping k!dnappers identify potential victims.
The police have asked him to substantiate the claim and said any credible evidence of misconduct would be investigated.
