Isaac Fayose has criticised Datti Baba-Ahmed, describing Peter Obi’s former running mate as a failure and accusing him of being jealous of Obi.
Fayose said Datti was largely unknown before Obi selected him as his running mate in 2022. He also said that Datti could not win his own state during the election.
In a post he shared, he said:
“Ahmed Datti is a failure. For those who don’t know who Ahmed Datti is, he was Obi’s former vice-presidential candidate.
“Nobody knew this man before 2022 until Obi picked him. Even in his own state, he failed to win.
“This guy is a failure and a jealous man. He’s jealous because Obi refused to pick him again as vice president.
“He said he was at the ICC when Obi was supposed to join ADC, and he advised him not to join ADC because they might not pick him again as VP.
“Obi/Kwankwaso ticket is okay for us. Thank you for wasting our time four years ago. At least Kwankwaso is more capable, more popular, stronger and wiser than you in the North.
“The more you condemn Obi, the more people love the man. We know you will soon join APC, and they are the ones sending you.”
