Former Senator representing Katsina South, Bello Mandiya, has d!ed at the age of 62
Mandiya died on Monday, September 7, 2026, according to a statement issued by Ibrahim Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda.
Radda expressed shock and sadness over the death, describing it as a great loss to Katsina State and Nigeria.
“I received with shock and deep sadness the news of the death of Senator Bello Mandiya. His passing is a great loss to Katsina State and Nigeria,” the governor said.
Radda described Mandiya as a committed public servant who contributed to the development of Katsina State and Nigeria.
“Senator Mandiya dedicated part of his life to public service and served our people with commitment. His contributions will remain remembered,” he added.
