Veteran actress Stella Damasus has a few things she would want to see in the man she would want her daughter to marry.
For her, respect comes first. She wants someone who genuinely values her daughter and is deeply committed to her.
Money also matters to her. She believes the man should be financially stable enough to handle his own responsibilities and also take care of her daughter when necessary.
“He needs to have enough to take care of you”, she stated.
But Stella is not only looking at what a man can provide financially. Discipline is another big deal for her. She wants someone who is disciplined in his mind, his body and the way he lives his life.
She would also like him to love and fear God, although she made it clear that religion alone is not enough.
In her view, a man should also have the self-control to live by the values he believes in.
And then there is the lighter side of her list. Stella admitted that good looks count too.
“He has to be good looking, because, of course, you are an embodiment of beautiful “, she added referring to her daughter.
Clearly, her expectations go beyond just finding a man who loves her daughter. She believes the right husband would need to bring much more to the table than love alone.
