Poco Lee has confirmed that he is truly out of prison after speaking with VeryDarkMan during a livestream.
Speaking about his time in detention, Poco Lee said he simply remained himself throughout the situation. He explained that he never wanted to put anyone under pressure or inconvenience people because he knew he was innocent of the allegations against him.
He said he did not want to inconvenience anybody, but noted that Jago and Burna Boy stood by him throughout the situation.
Poco Lee also said there was no reason for him to suddenly become a different person because of what had happened. He has continued to be the same happy person he has always been.
According to him, the only thing that would genuinely bother him would be knowing that he had actually committed the offence he was accused of.
He added that what people say about him has never really affected him. Even before the incident, he said people would send messages to his DM and criticise him for always being happy despite not having done anything to them.
For Poco Lee, staying true to himself has always mattered more than trying to please people or allowing their opinions to take away his happiness.
During the conversation, VeryDarkMan told him:
“Some people are angry that you’re out and I’m going to make them more angry cos what you didn’t do you didn’t do”.
