A man identified as Adejuwon Adekunle, aka Asa, has been shot de.ad by gunmen near a recreation centre in the Dele Yes Sir community, Osogbo, Osun State
Adekunle was reportedly attacked between 1:30am and 2am on Tuesday by yet-to-be-identified assailants, who allegedly traced him to the area.
The circumstances surrounding the k!lling remained unclear as of the time of filing this report.
However, the Osun State Police Command said preliminary findings suggested that the incident might be cult-related, assuring that investigation had commenced to unravel the circumstances surrounding the k!lling.
The command’s spokesperson, Abiodun Ojelabi, who confirmed the incident.
The Commissioner of Police has directed that the case be transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department for a more discreet investigation. We have not made any arrest regarding the incident.”
