Family appeals for help over missing daughter in Bayelsa

A family in Bayelsa State is asking for help after their daughter, who is under two years old, reportedly went missing from a Catholic church premises. 

 

The incident reportedly happened on June 21, 2026, when the family took the little girl to church and handed her over to the children’s department.

According to the family, they returned later to pick her up but were told that the child could no longer be found.

Since then, the family says they have been trying to find out what happened and locate their daughter. They reported the matter to the police and also said they sent several petitions to authorities in Abuja, but their efforts have not yet led to the child being found.

In a plea for help, the family said:

“Nigerians, please come to our rescue. I have gone to the police, but there was no help. I have written several petitions to Abuja, but there is still no hope. VeryDarkMan please come to our rescue.”

The family is now appealing to members of the public and relevant authorities to assist with the search and help bring their daughter back home.
