American rapper Nicki Minaj has followed NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi on X, shortly after reposting his statement on the k!ll!ngs and abductions reported in Niger State.
In the statement, Obi condemned the a.ttacks and described the situation as “the systematic devaluation of human life.”
“These are not statistics. They are Nigerians. They are mothers, fathers, children, brothers, sisters and elderly people. Their only offence was to live in communities where the protection of the state has become increasingly inadequate,” Obi said.
He called for intelligence-led operations and stronger action against criminal networks involved in killings and abductions.
Minaj’s follow came shortly after she reposted Obi’s statement.
