Social commentator GehGeh has criticised singer Burna Boy over his recent luxury car purchase, questioning why the singer would spend billions of naira on a vehicle while many Nigerians are struggling with rising living costs.
Geh Geh argued that spending such a huge amount on a car makes little sense in a country where basic infrastructure, including good roads, remains a major concern.
Speaking about the car, he said:
“Burna Boy, that your car wey you buy eh, call Aboki iron condemn make them come carry that financial mistake wey you buy from your compound. It’s a shame. I no believe when I see that video. Call Aboki now. I’m giving 24 hours. That car you buy what benefit is it to me as a Nigerian. You carry billions of Naira go buy car wey no get use to you and the country you come from.
“You buy car with Billions of naira for this country wey you dey there’s no good road.
“This is why some of Una go make money you go think say whether the country better e no better e no concern you. You don go buy car where the road to drive am?
Nigerians are hungry and you are buying a car.”
