Isaac Fayose has criticised Nigerians who protested against the high fuel price under former President Goodluck Jonathan but now praise President Bola Tinubu despite the much higher pump price.
He recalled the criticism Jonathan faced when petrol was sold at ₦98, saying some Nigerians accused the former president of lacking the ability to manage the economy.
Fayose said the same people are now paying about ₦1,500 for fuel while describing Tinubu as a builder.
In a post, he said:
“You bought fuel at 98 Naira, you came out to protest, you said Jonathan doesn’t have brain, that Jonathan does not know how to manage economy. Now you are buying the same fuel at 1,500 and you are calling the man, the current president, Tinubu, a builder. That means you are a fo.ol.”
