Big Brother Naija star Cross Okonkwo says he was robbed by a street beggar in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
According to Cross, he was approached by people begging around his car. He said he did not turn the man away, but the situation quickly changed when the man allegedly grabbed something from his car and ran.
He said he chased after him but could not catch up.
In a post he shared, he said:
“Federal government, I just got robbed. All these beggars, they were in my window talking to me. I did not refuse the guy and he just ripped off something from my car and ran away. I chased him and chased him all the way and he ran so fast. What kind of nons£nse thing be this, Nigeria you are not saf£ in your own country again.
This Lagos, I don’t understand why you guys are allowing these people to be on the street. This is unfair..”
