Nollywood actress Sochima Ezeoke has criticised fellow actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday over the way she announced the death of actor Cjay Nwoks.
Nkechi had earlier announced Cjay’s de.ath in an emotional video. She also said she would no longer release her anticipated movie, which was scheduled to drop at 5pm and featured Cjay as the lead actor.
Sochima, however, questioned the timing of the announcement. According to her, efforts were still being made to keep Cjay alive when Nkechi reportedly left the hospital and made the video.
She wrote:
“You drove out of the hospital just to make a video of you crying and pronouncing him dead! It’s so unfair to the family!!!! While he was still struggling to stay alive! Kai! We have been to different hospitals looking for oxygen. Looking for a way! And you capitalised on it just to promote ur movie!”.
Her accusation was that Nkechi should not have announced the de.ath while efforts to save Cjay were still ongoing, especially without considering how the announcement could affect his family.
