Rapper OdumoduBlvck has explained why he believes a man should be ready to make the biggest sacrifice for the woman he loves.
The rapper spoke about marriage, faith and his understanding of a man’s responsibility while appearing on the In Motion Podcast.
For him, his Christian beliefs play a major role in how he understands love between a husband and wife.
He said:
“Any man wey talk say he no fit d+e for him woman na big fool,” OdumoduBlvck said. “Because me now I’m a Christian.”
He pointed to the sacrifice of Christ as the basis for his position. He added that, because his wife would be younger than him, he expects to leave before her and would want her to take care of their children and continue building on what he started.
He also brought up chess while explaining how highly he regards women in a relationship.
“If you don’t understand the concept of loving a woman, putting a woman where a woman is meant to be… if you look at chess, the strongest piece na queen,” he stated.
The rapper also talked about his upbringing and how his mother influenced his attitude towards giving. He recalled growing up around a woman who was willing to give things away freely, even when they belonged to her.
That experience, he said, has affected how he handles his own money.
