Comedian and preacher Woli Arole has criticised prophets who use the de.ath of a person to claim they had foreseen the tragedy.
Reacting to posts in which some prophets reportedly claim they predicted a person’s de.ath, Arole questioned why anyone would make such claims while the deceased’s family, friends and fans are still grieving.
In a post he shared on his Instagram page, he wrote:
“I think it is very appalling, annoying and highly STUP!D when we use prophecy to justify DE.ATH.
“A young man just died, friends, fans and families are still mourning and you’re already doing a video of “I saw the death and it has happened”. So what’s the essence; VALIDATION and TRACTION. Nonsense, Rubbish, RADARADA.
Rest on ANGEL!!!”.
He criticised the practice of using such claims to seek validation and attract attention, saying that the focus should remain on the person who has d!ed and those mourning their loss.
