Nollywood actor Antar Laniyan says he would leave a gathering if his friends started speaking badly about President Bola Tinubu.
The veteran actor explained that he has no personal reason to speak against the president because, in his view, he said Tinubu has done nothing bad to him.
He also made it clear that even if the president did something wrong to him, he would still choose to walk away.
Laniyan said he would rather walk away from the conversation than stay and listen to his friends criticise the president.
Speak in an interview, he said:
“If you are my friend and you talk badly about President Tinubu in a gathering, I will walk away because he has not done anything bad to me. Even if he does, I will still walk away.”
His position is that he would not join in criticising Tinubu, even if the conversation happened among people he considers friends.
