Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has questioned Pastor Arome Osayi’s claim of having been to heaven, expressing concern over why his followers continue to believe him.
Kanayo questioned the claim by comparing Pastor Arome’s experience with what happened to Jesus Christ, pointing out that Jesus d!ed and ascended into heaven.
In a post he shared, he said:
“If you’re a follower of Christ, what happened to Jesus? He d!ed and ascended into heaven. Pastor Arome is still alive, yet he claims to have gone to heaven, and his members are clapping for him. Many are going to hell with their eyes wide open.
“The body of Christ is being ridiculed by many who parade themselves as men of God. Please, my dear friends, be careful whose voice you listen to.”
Kanayo also warned Christians to be careful about the religious leaders they choose to follow, saying that some people who present themselves as men of God are bringing ridicule to Christianity.
