Speed Darlington has continued to criticise his former manager, Goskey, this time accusing him of spending too much money and pushing for expensive choices.
The singer recalled how they once disagreed over the cost of getting a car to take them to Asaba. According to him, he wanted to hire an older, cheaper car for ₦90,000, but Goski advised him to choose a better-looking vehicle that would cost ₦250,000.
Speed Darlington said the experience left him wondering who the celebrity between them really was, given that his manager seemed more concerned about travelling in a finer car.
In a post, Speed Darlington said:
“Goskey my ex-manager is always living above his means. I will order a cheap and old car to transport us to Asaba for ₦90,000, but Goski keeps advising me to go for a better and finer car that will charge me ₦250,000. I keep wondering whether I’m the celebrity or him.”
For Speed Darlington, the choice between a ₦90,000 ride and a ₦250,000 car was a matter of unnecessary spending. He also questioned why his manager appeared to place so much importance on travelling in a more expensive vehicle.
