The daughter of late Nollywood actor Diewait Ikpechukwu has appealed to the public to give her and her family some privacy following her father’s de.ath.
She pleaded with the Actors Guild and members of the public not to share her father’s pictures or burial posters on social media, saying she is not ready to see such posts at this difficult time.
In her emotional appeal, she also asked people not to call her concerning the matter, explaining that she would make an announcement herself whenever she feels ready.
“Actors Guild, I don’t want you guys posting my daddy. Nobody should call me,” she said.
She further made it clear that she wants people to respect her family’s wishes and allow them to grieve privately.
According to her, when the time is right, she will willingly share her father’s picture and any necessary information herself.
