Veteran Yoruba actor widely known as Baba Tonbolo has received a brand-new Bajaj motorcycle and cash from actor Kunle Afod after the actor raised N1.4 million to support him.
Kunle Afod had earlier appealed to Nigerians and well-meaning individuals to support Baba Tonbolo, and the money was raised with the help of people who were willing to contribute.
He has now fulfilled his promise, presenting the veteran actor with a new motorcycle and some cash to help with his daily needs.
Baba Tonbolo was overwhelmed by the gesture. He broke down in tears of joy and rolled on the floor as he thanked Kunle Afod for remembering him and coming through for him.
It was an emotional moment, especially seeing how much the gift meant to the veteran actor.
Kunle Afod has continued to show concern for some of the older actors in the Yoruba movie industry, and this latest gesture is another way of extending a helping hand to someone who has spent years entertaining people.
