Today makes it exactly a week when Naira Marley was granted bail by a Lagos court but has remained in prison. Marley who was remanded in prison by a court of law when he was arraigned by EFCC on charges mostly based on fraud remains in Ikoyi prison. News however went round that the singer couldn’t get people as sureties. But his management has debunked that, saying EFCC has to confirm the address of the sureties and report back to court, and this has been taking time. They attributed his continuous stay in prison to it.
