Barely four days after his abduction by suspected kidnappers, the second class chief of the Dorok Kingdom in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State, David Isa, has been released.
The paramount ruler was kidnapped last Monday in his palace at about 8pm by gunmen numbering over ten who whisked him away to an unknown destination.
The Plateau State Police Command in a statement in Jos on Saturday confirmed the release of the traditional ruler
The statement signed by the Command’s Spokesman, Mathias Tyopev, said, ‘’We wish to inform the general public that HRH Engr. David Isah Dongbam, the Second Class Chief of the Dorock Kingdom of Shandam Local Government Area of Plateau State has unconditionally been released by his kidnappers.
