The special security outfit, Bayelsa Waterways Security Taskforce have arrested suspected masterminds of the attack on a military post in the Nembe area of the state that led to the death of three soldiers.
The security outfit, led by ex-militant leader, Master Africanus Ukparasia, arrested the suspects at Olugbobiri community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, LGA, of the state based on an intelligence tip-off.
It would be recalled that on August 8, suspected militants attacked the Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe, in Bayelsa State, and killed three soldiers.
Upon their arrest yesterday, water-ways security task force team handed the culprits over to the Military – Operation Delta Safe Command, while the deceased were deposited at a morgue.
