This week, Lagos women and Ondo women took to the streets to protest against Senator Dino Melaye over his confrontation with his colleague Oluremi Tinubu. Today Kogi women have also come out saying, Dino Melaye will not apologise to Mrs Tinubu, but Mrs Tinubu will be the one to apologize to Melaye because she can’t just call someone else’s husband a dog just because they are colleagues. They also said they were ‘proud’ of Melaye for not letting Tinubu and her supporters push him into silence.
The women printed banners with words like “Remi Tinubu must apologize to Dino Melaye” and “Lagos is not superior to Kogi” and “Kogi Women support Dino Melaye” among others.
While concluding, the group also said the female senator needed to be called to order because her actions on the floor of the House were getting out of hand. But wait, na so the matter go dey continue?
